A new Packers player is having an impact in Green Bay, before he’s even played a game.
The team signed linebacker Christian Kirksey around the time Governor Evers started closing non-essential businesses.
Kirksey wanted to help, by donating to Paul’s Pantry in Green Bay. He says there’s no better time to pitch in than during this time.
Craig Robbins of Paul’s Pantry says they used the money to get 100 cans of tuna, 100 cans of peanut butter, and a pallet of water. He thinks it’s fantastic that Kirksey was reaching out to nonprofits, after only being with the team for a short time.
