Governor Evers says while he’s deeply concerned about the public health implications of voting in-person today, he’s overwhelmed by the bravery, resilience, and heroism of people.
He released a statement this afternoon, crediting voters and poll workers. He’s asking them to stay as safe as possible.
Evers also blamed Majority Republicans in the Legislature, and the state and U.S. Supreme Courts for not prioritizing public health and safety.
