U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson still supports the earliest possible return to economic freedom, once the COVID-19 virus is under control.
The Oshkosh Republican tells Josh Dukelow on Fresh Take that the economy can’t be shut down much longer. He says people need to maintain perspective, and they need to do everything they can to keep as much as possible open, as long as it’s done safely.
Johnson says no government officials ordering shutdowns should be criticized for those decisions.
