A federal judge is ordering election officials not to report any results from Tuesday’s election, until the extended absentee voting is done.
The new deadline for clerks to receive the absentee ballots is Monday, April 13th.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission asked Judge William Conley for the ban on releasing any results while people could still be filling out and sending in ballots.
State leaders are pushing forward with holding in-person voting on Tuesday, despite widespread concerns that voters and poll workers would be at risk of catching coronavirus.
