Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is partnering with agencies in the Fox Valley to make sure people have enough to eat.
President and CEO Patti Habeck says they include community groups and food pantries, like the St. Joseph Food Program in Menasha.
She considers Feeding America the food bank, for food banks. She says they ordered several large trucks of food, when concerns over coronavirus started, so they would be prepared. Now, they’re working to get it out, right away.
Habeck thinks the collaboration will especially help first-time users. She says the goal is to move food to where it’s needed.
