A Calumet County woman is taking time during the “safer at home” order to get outside and make her community look better.
Bonnie Schneider spent part of yesterday picking up trash, along a stretch of Irish Road, northeast of Chilton. She had several helpers, and they picked up enough garbage to fill several bags.
Last week, Schneider spent four days cleaning up a three-mile stretch of Highway E.
She says it’s quite a reward to see clean ditches along a road. She hopes others follow her lead.
