The changes to federal employment laws are leading to plenty of questions for Fox Valley businesses.
The federal stimulus bill includes new paid sick leave and family leave benefits, including paid time off, to care for their children, if the kids can’t be in school or day care.
But Attorney Jim Macy says workers will have to meet specific guidelines. He says small companies with fewer than 50 workers wouldn’t have to offer the new benefits, if it would put them out of business.
