The Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation will try to get $1 million to help local businesses.
The low-interest loans would be available, through a COVID-19 emergency response fund.
Executive Director Jason White hopes the money would help with fixed costs, like rent, insurance, and utilities. He says those bills don’t go away just because there’s a crisis.
Businesses could get a low-interest loan, for up to $10,000. There wouldn’t be any payments due for six months.
White says they already have $300,000 available right now.
He was a guest on AM Fox Valley today.
