Godsmack unveiled a teaser for their upcoming video for “Unforgettable”, and can be seen below. The band invited over 400 middle school students to the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire to perform the song with them. The footage was recorded on February 15, and bassist Robbie Merrill said:
“It’s a memory that they’re going to have for the rest of their life, and for us, it’s easy. It’s like, ‘Hey, let’s do a video, and let’s bring people in.'”
Manchester TV station, WMUR-TV, had a chance to talk to some of the kids while recording the video.
Before recording the video, Godsmack frontman Sully Erna, spoke to the students. He talk about the challenges that he has faced and how music saved him while encouraging the students to pursue their dreams.
“Unforgettable” comes off of the band’s latest album When Legends Rise which was released in April 2018.
