Plenty of parents are finding out what it’s like to be a teacher, and they can get some help from UW-Oshkosh and St. Norbert College students.
More than 100 education students at the two schools are offering free tutoring.
St. Norbert Associate Professor Bola Delano-Oriaran believes both sides benefit. She says the college students get experience teaching children, and the kids are focusing on areas where they need to improve.
The tutoring is available around the U.S. More than 130 families have already signed up. They’re from around Wisconsin, and as far away as Georgia and Maryland.
