Some people from northeast Wisconsin are stranded overseas.
Many were visiting or working in foreign countries that have shut down their borders because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Jimena Duquaine is stuck in Peru, and she isn’t getting much help from the government. She says they’re getting different answers, and the U.S. Embassy is sending calls somewhere else.
Duquaine has also contacted Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Oshkosh. His office forwarded her case to the State and Defense departments.
