An Omro distillery is now making hand sanitizer.
Peggy Hendricks at Hendricks Family Distillery says the production part isn’t an issue, but packaging is a challenge. She’s having trouble finding bottles.
Hendricks plans to donate most of the hand sanitizer made at the distillery to local health facilities, police, and first responders.
Hendricks uses potatoes to make vodka, so she can make their hand sanitizer without grain alcohol.
