A state lawmaker from Milwaukee says he has coronavirus.
Democratic Rep. David Bowen says he tested positive, after running a fever late last week. His office reports Bowen is in quarantine at home, and while he’s still fighting symptoms, he’s in good spirits and recuperating.
Bowen says he had contact with a local elected official who tested positive, and he immediately went into quarantine.
He’s the first state lawmaker to reveal a positive coronavirus test.
