Oshkosh companies will likely have to deal with a labor shortage for the foreseeable future.
Jason White of the Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation says the problem can’t be solved through job training for the unemployed. He says the city’s population needs to grow, to have an impact.
The percentage of people working in Oshkosh rate fell in 2018 to about 69 percent. That’s down from 70 percent the year before.
