Oshkosh city leaders might be considering more building projects….in the coming years.
City Manager Mark Rohloff believes the parks maintenance building on Witzel Avenue should be the top priority. He says they bought it from Fox Valley Technical College, and there are safety issues.
The city recently hired a consultant to study the possibilities for the Public Safety Building. Rohloff thinks that’s going to be more of a long-term project.
He says they also have to look at the future of City Hall.
The city bought all three buildings and reused them. The Public Safety Building used to be the Winnebago County jail. City Hall is in the old high school.
Rohloff talked about the possible projects during last night’s “State of the City” address.
