The City of Oshkosh is taking steps to prevent future malware attacks.
A computer virus took down the entire computer system earlier this month, and some programs still aren’t back to normal.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says it takes time to implement security measures. He says the new protection system is slowing some things down, so they’re trying to balance that out.
Rohloff says they still haven’t pinpointed how the malware got into the city’s system. The FBI believes Russian hackers are behind the attack.
