Oshkosh leaders will take a close look at the city’s Public Safety Building, and how it could be used in the future.
City Manager Mark Rohloff thinks the former Winnebago County jail has its limits. He says they want to know how much it would cost to renovate the facility, compared to building a new police station.
The Public Safety Building was built in 1980. The Winnebago County jail and sheriff’s department moved close to I-41 in 2003.
