The DOT is finally ready to start work on an Oshkosh bridge.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says the Oshkosh Avenue Bridge will close on February 20th. He says crews were originally going to shut it down last month, but the delay isn’t expected to impact the completion date.
Rohloff says the drawbridge is expected to be open to boating on the Fox River by mid-April and then drivers should be able to start using it in mid-June.
The DOT is refurbishing the bridge, and not completely rebuilding it.
