Boys basketball players at Denmark High School and their fans surprised Oconto with donations, in the wake of a deadly fire.
Kathy DeCoursin and her three children weren’t able to escape from their house last month. The Denmark team raised $750, and people gave another $500 during halftime of a game on Monday.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the city’s fire chief says it appears it was accidental.
