The city of Oshkosh is once again considering a transportation utility fee to replace special assessments.
A special committee is working on an $8 a month fee for single family homes and duplexes. All other property owners would pay $50 a month.
Common Council Member Matt Mugerauer says those working on the proposal agree that special assessments are unfair.
Last year, the Oshkosh Common Council shot down a transportation utility fee. It would’ve been based on the formula the city uses for the stormwater utility fee.
