Most Oshkosh businesses expect to do better this year than in 2019.
The Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce surveyed them, and 83 percent feel that way.
President John Casper says that’s building on several consecutive years of growth.
Fifty-seven percent plan to add workers, and he says that can be a challenge in the current job market. He believes companies need to act quickly when they find the right candidate, and work hard to retain that talent.
Last year, 79 percent of companies met or exceeded their profitability expectations. Seventy-five percent gave workers raises.
