ABC’s “Good Morning America” aired a recently taped interview with Ozzy Osbourne during Tuesday’s program where he revealed he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2019. The Black Sabbath frontman found out last February shortly after being injured in a fall which affected his health for most of the year.
“It’s been terribly challenging for us all. I did my last show New Year’s Eve at The Forum. Then I had a bad fall. I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerves.”
“It’s PRKN 2. There’s so many different types of Parkinson’s; it’s not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does affect certain nerves in your body. And it’s — it’s like you have a good day, a good day, and then a really bad day.”

The disease hasn’t stopped the “Prince of Darkness” however. He has a new album coming out called “Ordinary Man” (two songs from the release can be heard on WAPL) and he will revive the World Tour he was forced to postpone, including a July 1st show at Summerfest in Milwaukee.
