The head of the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh says a new endowment will help avoid some unexpected expenses for years to come.
An anonymous donor is setting aside $1 million for ongoing maintenance of the club’s facilities.
CEO Marc Dosogne says while they work really hard to keep their buildings in good shape, things can happen. He says projects weren’t always included in their budget, so they’ve had to make cuts in other areas or try to raise money.
The money will also be used to buy new equipment. Dosogne says that could include computers and sports equipment.
