There was an unusual cause to a dumpster fire on Appleton’s north side this morning.
Firefighters say a hot toilet started some garbage on fire.
They say the old toilet was outside, and someone used a torch to thaw it from the frozen ground. The ceramic was too hot when it was thrown into the dumpster.
The dumpster was next to a garage in the 1900 block of N. Oneida Street.
