The Appleton and Oshkosh school districts both meet expectations, under the state’s report card system.
Appleton Asst. Superintendent Steve Harrison says it’s the third straight year their overall score went up. He says they’re also happy with improvements in English and math.
Harrison says the district will continue to work on closing the achievement gap, and increasing graduation rates.
Green Bay schools also met expectations.
Nearly 97 percent of districts statewide at least meet or exceed expectations. Eighty-seven percent of individual schools are at that level.
