A Brown County judge is ruling the suspect in a Hobart double murder isn’t competent to stand trial right now.
Jacob Cayer is charged with killing his ex-girlfriend, Sabrina Teague, and her mother, Heesun, at their home in June of 2016. Judge Tammy Jo Hock believes if Cayer takes his required medication, he could be competent in time.
His trial has been delayed several times, because of questions about his mental health.
Cayer is also accused of stabbing Sabrina’s girlfriend, and he survived.
Cayer is facing two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, and one count of attempted murder.
