One of the fields at Oshkosh Community Park has significant damage, after someone drove around on it last night.
Winnebago County Parks Director Rob Way says it’s Field No. 3, and the ruts are so bad that they probably won’t be able to use it until sometime next June.
He says that will impact local groups, including Oshkosh Youth Soccer Club.
There are 18 fields at the park.
Way says they’re upgrading their security cameras to hopefully deter anyone else from causing similar damage. Oshkosh police are working on the case, and investigators do have some surveillance video.
