The Oshkosh School District may not get as much as they had hoped in the sale of the former Smith Elementary School.
The district received just two bids to purchase the century old school building, one for $450,000 and the other for $358,000.
District officials had listed the property at $649,000.
Tim Hess, who is part of the group that offered the lower bid, promises School Board members that the historic structure would be saved.
The Oshkosh School Board will decide if it wants to accept one of the two bids on November 8.
