Trent Reznor may not be putting out any new Nine Inch Nails music, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been busy writing. He and his scoring/song writing partner Atticus Ross did all the music for the new HBO seriers Watchmen. The series is based on the 80’s graphic novel written by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.
Coming out in three parts Trent and Atticus will release the music on Vinyl LP’s throughout the rest of the year. Volume 1 on November 4th, Volume 2 on November 25th, and Volume 3 on December 16th. Digital releases will also be available after those initial release dates. Each release will contain artwork and packaging that explores the culture of Watchmen America, with insights into the comic book saga’s mythology and mysteries.
On top of all that Nine Inch Nails are officially on the ballot (again) to be named to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
