Former Oshkosh North softball star Sydney Supple is back in her hometown this weekend to officially open the new ball field that she helped build.
The diamond in Rainbow Park was financed through donations, and by Supple’s awards for being the Gatorade State Player of the Year three times. She hopes it will inspire the next generation of players in Oshkosh.
Supple is a freshman at Northwestern University, and she’s playing on the softball team.
The dedication ceremony is set for noon tomorrow in Rainbow Park.
