There’s a new possible site for a parking lot by the City Center in downtown Appleton.
City staff will crunch the numbers for 30 to 34 stalls on the former Conway Hotel site. It’s been greenspace, since the building along Washington Street was torn down several years ago.
Developer Paul Hoffman thinks that’s a better spot than the former location of the Blue Ramp. He says the Blue Ramp property has a better prospects for redevelopment.
Hoffman thinks the city could build the lot and put in parking meters for less than $100,000.
The municipal services committee is looking at options for parking around the City Center.
