The suspect in a shooting at a cemetery in Wausau is facing several charges, after a woman was killed and two people were wounded.
Sixty-four-year-old Henry West is in custody on a $1 million bond.
Police Chief Ben Bliven says a 52-year-old woman died at the scene. A 60-year-old man is in critical condition, and a 70-year-old woman is in stable condition.
They all either worked at the cemetery, or are related to workers. Bliven says West worked there until 2012, and he was unhappy with the cemetery.
He says West was also being evicted from his apartment. There was an apartment fire at West’s complex before the shooting. Police believe the fire and shooting are connected.
Marathon County prosecutors are charging West with one count of first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of attempted murder.
