A former municipal judge in Fox Crossing is going to jail for violating a restraining order.
A jury found Len Kachinsky guilty of one misdemeanor count, in a case involving his former court manager. He was acquitted of two other counts.
Kachinsky will spend up to six months in jail. He’ll be eligible for good time, and work-release privileges.
Winnebago County prosecutors accused him of sending emails to the court manager, after she got a restraining order.
Earlier this summer, the state Supreme Court suspended Kachinsky’s law license for three years.
