Gavin Rossdale of Bush told Kaytie and Cutter earlier in the year that Bush’s new album The Mind Plays Tricks on You would be out this fall. Speaking to our rock radio counterparts in Detroit this week, Gavin told Metldown from WRIF that it now will be early next year.
“Well, it was gonna be… I got in a lot of trouble for November the 1st. And now it’s been moved to the beginning of [next] year — I think March or April. Which really makes no difference — it’s a couple of months. As long as we keep the momentum, and if there’s a new song — I hope there’s a new song coming to radio if “Bullet Holes” starts to slide down the pole. I hope there’s another one coming.”
The song “Bullet Holes” has peaked into the top 15 of the rock radio chart and has begun to “slide down the pole.” That song was featured on the soundtrack and played over the end credits of the movie John Wick 3.
To dig further into that song and what we can expect from this album, here’s the above mentioned conversation from Cutter’s Rockcast with Gavin Rossdale.
