What remained of the Little Oshkosh Playground in Menominee Park is gone.
Crews have removed the old wooden structure to make way for a new playground.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says memorials to those that helped fund or build the original structures will remain. He says the memorials to those that funded and built the original Little Oshkosh will remain where they were.
Crews will now start to install the new, modern and accessible playground that was selected through public input at the Little Oshkosh site. That should be ready for play next spring.
