Firefighters put out a house fire in Menasha late yesterday afternoon.
Capt. Mike Janke of Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue says it started in an office room, at a home by Greenwood and Lawndale drives. That’s east of Appleton Road.
Janke says there’s substantial damage to that room, and smoke damage to the rest of the one-story house.
The overall estimate is $30,000 in damage. No one was home.
Investigators are working to pinpoint the cause.
