Rage Against the Machine is the latest band to get the 1000 musician treatment. Rockin’ 1000, the so-called “Biggest Rock Band on Earth” recently covered Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name.”
This is what happened on July 7th 2019 at Commerzbank-Arena, Frankfurt: 1000 musicians from all over the world working their ass off for months to celebrate this magnificent hymn to rebellion by Rage Against the Machine.
Rockin’ 1000 began in 2015 after performing a Foo Fighter’s cover in the attempt to get the Foo Fighters to play Cesena, Italy. The performance was viewed over 32 million times and the Foo came to play. Since then, the group organizes concerts with 1000 musicians playing together.
