Russia’s RocknMob is a rock music flash mob that shows up and covers rock songs. They have previously gotten together to cover Metallica’s “Enter Sandman,” plus songs from Thirty Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park, Bon Jovi and others. This time they were in Moscow and over 250 musicians got together to do “Sad But True.”
Rocknmob were inspired after the success of Rockin1000 in Italy who gathered 1000 musicians to cover Foo Fighters’s “Learn to Fly.”
These are cool covers to be sure, but now how about we go back to Metallica. This is David Drambyan covering “For Whom the Bell Tolls” on actual church bells.
