Hope you aren’t too hungover from St. Paddy’s Day because this is your Razor Underground Recap for March 17th, 2019.
We kick this recap off with some new music from the band Puppy. I know what you’re thinking…Puppy? Not exactly what I would call the best band name I’ve ever heard, but you know what? The song delivers. These guys are another band that hail from the U.K. and I don’t know what they are putting in the water over there but catchy alternative acts are springing up everywhere. Check out “Black Hole” below.
My first interview on this episode was with Jay Neuens of Drenched In Fear and Edenfest Productions. Drenched In Fear are part of new wave of bands coming out of Wisconsin that are taking heavy to whole new level. Jay is a double-threat because not only is he kicking-ass fronting Drenched in Fear but his production company, Edenfest Productions, are helping bands from all over the state and the region connect, put on shows and get their music into the ears of fans. Check out “Regicide” below!
On this episode, I also got to debut music from the band Source. These guys hail from Colorado and play a scorching brand of progressive metal. Get out there and check out their brand new full-length Totality and look below for lead-single “Benjamin”.
My second-hour interview came from the band Forcefield. These guys hail from the Fox Valley area in Wisconsin and have a sound that is completely all their own. If you get a chance to catch them live, don’t miss out. They put on one blistering stage show.
Wrapping this Recap up with brand new music from SHVPES (pronounced Shapes). This band also hails from the U.K. and is fronted by legendary Iron Mainden frontman Bruce Dickinson’s son. I see great things in the future for this band. Check out “Undertones”!
