News broke on Friday that Slipknot’s Chris Fehn was suing the rest of the band, now comes official word from Slipknot that Chris Fehn is no longer a member of the band. A statement via the band’s official website reads:
“Slipknot’s focus is on making album #6, and our upcoming shows around the world, our best ever. Chris knows why he is no longer a part of Slipknot. We are disappointed that he chose to point fingers and manufacture claims, rather than doing what was necessary to continue to be a part of Slipknot. We would have preferred he not take the path that he has, but evolution in all things is a necessary part of this life.
Long Live The Knot.”
UPDATE:
(3/18/19 – 1:30PM)
One fan took to Twitter suggesting that Slipknot bring former vocalist Anders Colsefni back to which Corey Taylor commented “Fuck I would LOVE that.”
When a fan called that “a bit dickish,” Corey responded:
“You think that’s dickish, try being wrongfully accused of stealing money from someone you cared about, and having a lot of your fans believe it. Good Morning, by the way.”

We will update you as more information becomes available.
