Before Razor Edgefest this past Saturday March 9th at the Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Arena, Cutter caught up with Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix.
“We’re about to shut this place down. We should just have Shinedown explode this place at the end of the night.”
Said Jacoby about it being the second to last concert at the arena. Going through the history of Papa Roach Jacoby likened his look in the mid-2000’s to Nikki Sixx.
“I go back and I’m like looking at some of the stuff and I’m like, man what was I thinking? And I think that’s when you’re really on to something, is when you look back like 5 years later and you’re like (sigh) that was bad. At the time you were in it, you were just all about it man, I had the Nikki Sixx hair going, it was like a Nikki Sixx starter kit.”
Of course there was also talk on the new album Who Do You Trust?, the new single “Elevate,” why he climbs all over the arena during their live performances and more. Listen in it’s entirety below.
