This is your Razor Underground Recap for February 17th, 2019.
We kicked things off with brand new music from the band Reignwolf. The band is led by Jordan Cook who orginally hails from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Wow. That’s a mouthful of a hometown. He relocated to Seattle, WA and put together the band in it’s current form. They have a new album coming out called Hear Me Now which is set to be released March 1st, 2019. Check out the video for lead single “Black and Red” below!
The next song comes from our friends in Messer. These guys exploded onto the scene last night and this song is an ABSOLUTE BANGER. Keep your eyes on Messer. These guys are going to be HUGE in the coming years. Here’s the video for “Simple Man”….And no that’s not a Skynrd cover.
I wrapped up the first hour of the show with an interview and special acoustic performance from the Milwaukee band Slowburn. These guys just put out an incredible new album in the form of Eos. Check out the full interview below and pick yourself up a copy of Eos on all digital platforms.
We kicked off the second hour of the show with an up-and-coming band from Wausau, WI. That band is Drenched in Fear. These dudes are apart of blossoming metal/deathcore scene we are cultivating here in dairy land. Check out their video for “Regicide”.
I had a chance to sit down and talk to Scott Wilson, bassist for Saving Abel. Check out our full conversation below!
I wrapped the show up with a band that recently caught my attention with their catchy hooks and inventive melodies. That band is Alive in Barcelona. Not to mention, they have a kickass band name and had help on their single from Craig Mabbitt of Escape the Fate! Can’t wait to interview these dudes. Check out “Zombies” below!
