There’s not a ton of information out there yet. According to the Hollywood Reporter, a source told them that:
“Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is working on a two-hour movie.”
The Albuquerque Journal, where the movie is rumored to be filmed, is reporting confirmation on the filming from the New Mexico Film Office stating:
“According to the New Mexico Film Office, the movie “Greenbrier” will begin production in the Duke City mid-November through early February.”
The Sante Fe New Mexican is also confirming reports from the New Mexico Film Office that a movie called “Greenbrier” will begin filming at the end of the month. The SFNM states that the movie “will track the escape of a man who was kidnapped and is on a search for freedom according to the release.”
We’re not sure if the movie will be for a theatrical release, television, or streaming services. We’re not sure if the series starts like Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul are involved in any way. We’re not sure if this will be a prequel to the series or a continuation. We’re apparently not sure of much but we’ll keep you posted as more information is released.
