Jerry Cantrell debuted a new track “Setting Sun” inspired by DC’s “Dark Days: Road to Metal.” Cantrell is the latest artist to collaborate on the”Dark Days” soundtrack series project following Maria Brink and Chris Howorth from In This Moment (The Calling), Jason Aalon (The Fever 333), Chino Moreno from the Deftones (Brief Exchange), and Brann Dailor from Mastodon (Red Death). The new track was produced by Mike Elizondo (Eminem and 21 Pilots producer), also Tyler Bates (Marilyn Manson) and Gil Sharone (ex-drummer for Dillinger Escape Plan) co-authored the song.
Alice in Chains are set to release their new album “Rainier Fog” on August 24th.
