An organization that provides diapers to about 1,000 children a month is launching a similar program for adults.
Jake’s Diapers Executive Director Stephanie Bowers believes adults with incontinence issues are overlooked, and there’s a desperate need for those products. She says they’ve already heard incredible feedback from people, including that they now have the confidence to go to church.
Bowers says they’re focusing on eastern Wisconsin, but they could expand to more communities. Right now, they’re helping about 300 people per month.
