Jared Leto stopped the 30 Seconds To Mars show in Sacramento last Thursday night to call out some security guards who went a little too far in crowd control efforts, and (according to reports) actually started beating down an audience member. TMZ reports that Leto motioned for the rest of the band to stop playing, then pointed to the scuffle and said there were seven security guards on top of one fan — which he called “ridiculous.”
It happened moments after Jared Leto told the crowd to rush the stage. The guy pummeled by security tried getting onstage but security stopped him, violently. Arena authorities say Jared caused the problem himself by inviting people to rush the stage, which is a violation of venue rules.
