The Bad Wolves cover of the classic Cranberries song “Zombie” has now been certified platinum in the United States by the RIAA. Of course the song was supposed to feature a guest appearance by The Cranberries lead singer Delores O’Riorden, but she passed away the day she was going to enter the studio with them. Since then the band has been donating proceeds raised from the song to her family. To date the song has been streamed over 46 million times on Spotify and the video has been viewed over 122 million times. 10 permanent downloads equals one unit sold, while 1500 audio or video streams equal one unit.
